Regional Growth, Labor Dynamics, and MSME Sustainability in Emerging Economies
Vol. 1 No. 01 (2025)

This issue of the Journal of Economics, Business and Insight (JEBI) features empirical and analytical studies examining regional economic performance, labor market dynamics, and the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). While grounded in the context of Jambi Province and other Indonesian regions, the research presented in this issue addresses broader development themes relevant to emerging economies. The articles explore the impact of unemployment, human development, labor force participation, and inflation on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), as well as the determinants of income and performance among culinary and small-scale enterprises. By integrating macroeconomic analysis with micro-level business perspectives, this issue provides valuable insights into the interconnected nature of economic growth, employment structures, and entrepreneurial resilience. Collectively, the studies contribute to evidence-based policymaking and strategic business development, offering implications for academics, policymakers, and practitioners seeking sustainable and inclusive economic progress.
